Proven leadership for Ocean City’s 4th Ward

Dear 4th Ward Friends,

I am excited to be asking for your support and your vote on May 14th to allow me to continue as your 4th Ward Representative on City Council.

Since joining City Council in 2023, I have worked hard to be the voice of reason on City Council, and to increase the focus on the quality of life in the 4th Ward. With experience from my career in the corporate world managing budgets and people which far exceed Ocean City’s operations, I bring seasoned professional experience to the City. Knowing how to work with my fellow council representatives as a good team member, maintaining my independence, understanding the value of preparation, and being in touch with the wants and needs of those whom I serve, helps me be an effective voice on City Council.

There are many great things happening in the 4th Ward, including alley repaving, addition of handicapped access to the beach, infrastructure improvements, plans for upgrades to the 34th St recreation area, improvements to the Fire Station at 46th St, and continuing plans for beautification of the Roosevelt Blvd gateway, where I will be seeking your input how you would like to see this entrance to our city provide a welcoming sense of arrival. Significant resources have been used to address flood mitigation in the 4th Ward, with more flood mitigation projects included in the 5- year Capital Plan. As you can see, the 4th Ward is being well represented on City Council.
Please be sure to get all the facts before voting so you know who will best represent you. For example, wasteful spending is not something your City Council would ever allow. Recent claims by others to cut wasteful spending sound good on the surface, until you find the spending cited as being wasteful was for our seniors at the Senior Center. Facts matter; know your chosen candidates’ background, experience and accomplishments and be an informed voter.

I will do my best when re-elected to keep Ocean City’s vibrant quality of life moving forward and promise to stay true to my one and only agenda – keep Ocean City the great place we all know and love, a community where dreams are made. It is not about me; it is about Ocean City.

Please remind your family, friends and neighbors to vote for me on Tuesday, May 14th, to make sure I can continue to do the work to keep Ocean City a vibrant community, now and for future generations.

Sincerely,

Dave Winslow

Why Vote for Dave Winslow

Dave has given a lifetime of service to our community and as a result of being unanimously appointed to City Council in August of 2023, and being re-elected in November of 2023, Dave has spearheaded a number of quality of life projects in the 4th Ward, including continuing flood mitigation projects, infrastructure improvements and championing a plan to re-envision the Roosevelt Blvd/34th St. entrance gateway to provide a welcoming sense of arrival into our town, in addition to being a visible presence and fighting for the residents of the 4th Ward.

Dave is the only candidate with a multitude of years of experience at the senior executive level managing multi-million dollar, multi-national companies, with corresponding large budgets. Ocean City’s $100 million plus annual operating budget requires seasoned professionals on City Council like Dave to provide support, guidance and sound decision making to insuring tax dollars are spent wisely and proving the maximum benefit to taxpayers, residents and visitors.

A Personal note from Dave:

“I would humbly ask for your vote to re-elect me on May 14th so I can continue to effectively and passionately represent the residents of the 4th Ward and make our area of Ocean City it an even better place to live.
